This is a "high key" watercolor painting of an imagined scene of a field in early spring. The greens are starting to come back, there's some patches of golden earth just showing through, the sky is bright, but not quite clear. High Key is a term that describes a painting or drawing that is mostly light colors, but with small areas, often lines and shadows that can be intense darks. Thank you for looking!
